Just keeping you up to date with the movement of the Building Business Leaders Breakfast. As we explained in the last round of breakfasts, whilst it is that all the cities have been growing, we were unable to continue the regularity. As those of you who come along know, they take quite a bit of preparation, both in media work and content delivery. However we did feel that we could do one great presentation per year in several cities and also speak in other cities by invitation. This has proved to be highly successful; I recently came back from Kalgoorlie where the Chamber of Commerce sponsored a presentation, with nearly all the business community of the town, and the reviews were great. The presentation made the front page of the local newspaper and more people came along to the BBLB than their last major event, which was when John Howard, who was the Prime Minister at the time, came to speak!

The main ones I am working on are Adelaide and Perth for March next year. The Adelaide presentation will be our Lincoln presentation. We are in the process of deciding the new one for Perth. We’ve had suggestions for people like Captain Cook and another possibility for our Empire Series, could be the British Empire. However, we will let you know as soon as we finalise the subject.
